The torque curve peaks at 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm, 10 Nm (7.38 lb-ft) more than in the production version. The V10 has a specific power output of 79.2 kW (107.6 hp) per liter displacement. Its power-to-weight ratio is 3.70 kilograms (8.16 lb) per kW or 2.72 kilograms (6.00 lb) per hp. The engine redlines at 8,700 rpm.

While the GT also benefits from a modified suspension, larger carbon fiber ceramic brakes, 19-inch forged alloys wrapped in 235/35 tires up front and 295/30 at the back, and numerous aero tweaks that are said to improve downforce.

Audi Quattro Concept gets driven around the rally stages of your dreams by a turbocharged 5-cylinder. This revealed in Paris to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original car’s 1980 debut.

Dimensions officially come in at 4.28 m long, 1.86 m wide, and 1.33 m tall. The designers have cut 150 millimeters (5.9 inches) out of the wheelbase – now 2.6 meters – and chopped the roof by 40 mm in order to save weight from the get-go. In order to reach a svelte 1,300 kilograms / 2,866 lbs (200 kilos / ~441 lbs less than the TT RS).

2010 Audi Quattro Concept use the carbon fiber for the hood, hatch, spoiler, and other bits. Designers have also thrown out the rear seats, which have been replaced with a helmet / luggage shelf. The all-LED light setup at the front fascia, between which sits Audi’s signature wide-mouth grille. Move to the front wide-body fenders and appreciate that underneath lies a 5-link suspension with “key components” in aluminum.

On the interior include the two 18-kilo passenger seats have either three- or four-point harnesses, while the driver faces a fully digital display which has two modes, “normal” and “race”. If opting for race mode that the graphics “revisit and refine” the Ur-quattro’s digital display.

Also Audi has given the driver some more throwbacks: four buttons (two on each side) to control the stopwatch and MMI functions at above the readout. One such multimedia function is the neat web-radio, which uses a cell phone to connect to radio stations worldwide.

Engine, though, the 2.5-liter unit makes 408-horsepower / 300 kW and uses a 6-speed manual transmission to drive all four 20-inch wheels with 480 Nm / 354 lb-ft. Behind the center-locking dubs are carbon-ceramic discs wearing 6-piston grippers.

2010 Audi E-tron Spyder Concept powered by a 300-horse 3.0-liter V6 TDI outfitted with two turbochargers and two 88-horsepower / 64 kW electric motors. The e-tron system in this car will help it hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds on its way to a limited 250 km/h (155 mph), provide an all-electric range of 31 miles, return a combined 128.4 mpg, and only pollute your air with 59 g of CO2 per kilometer. Total range is 621 miles for the 1,450-kg car.

The torque-vectoring system that helps put its 1,002 Nm (650 Nm from the TDI and 352 Nm from the motors, aka 739 lb ft) to the ground properly should you give it the beans.

Interior, there’a bunch of technical wizardry feeding the display in the driver-centric layout. The climate control unit is located to the right above the steering wheel. The display provides temperature and ventilation information. Again drawing inspiration from a smartphone, the system is operated by means of a touch-sensitive control panel.

The equally racing-inspired lightweight bucket seats combine excellent lateral support with comfort. Despite the complex drive system layout with two electric motors and their respective drive systems plus the TDI engine, the Audi e-tron Spyder Concept only weighs around 1,450 kilograms (3,196.70 lb).
